If you're considering a boudoir session, you might be wondering whether you should book a consultation call. I always offer them, but I never require them. I know that taking this step is personal and everyone moves at their own pace. That said, I truly believe consultations are valuable.

Get to Know Me (And Let Me Get to Know You)

A boudoir session is intimate by nature. You're trusting me to capture you in a vulnerable, beautiful way and that kind of trust doesn't happen overnight. A consultation gives us the chance to connect before your session, so when the day arrives, you're not walking into a room with a stranger. You're walking in to see someone you've already talked with, laughed with, and feel comfortable around.

The earlier we start building that relationship, the more at ease you'll be in front of the camera. When you feel relaxed and confident, your images reflect that. They're more authentic, more radiant, more you.

See If We're a Good Fit

Not every photographer is the right match for every client, and that's okay! A consultation gives you the opportunity to get a feel for my personality, my approach, and my philosophy around boudoir photography. You'll get a sense of whether my style resonates with you.

Boudoir photography can feel a little mysterious if you've never done it before. What should I wear? How do I pose? What if I'm nervous? What happens with the images afterward?

A consultation is your chance to ask anything and everything that's on your mind. There are no silly questions.

See the Products in Person (If You'd Like)

I offer consultations both virtually and in person, depending on what works best for you. If we meet in person, I love bringing along sample prints, wall art, albums, and other product options so you can see and feel the quality for yourself. There's something special about holding a beautifully printed album or seeing how stunning a canvas print looks in real life. It helps you envision how you might want to display or preserve your images.
